
FORTNITE creator Epic Games officially confirms plans to release a brand-new update for consoles and PC. This is everything you need to be aware of about version 20.30.
UPDATE: Fortnite Update 20.30 is released as the downtime is coming close to ending. The latest Fortnite update includes funds stations to Choppas and rebalances the damage caused by shotguns, and also brings back many Star Wars items and skins. As per a leaked report from gameshed_, players can also expect an Obi-Wan skin launch later in the evening.

“Time to go to new levels! This v20.30 upgrade is planned to launch in May, 3rd. The downtime will start at 04:00 am ET and matchmaking will be turned off 30 minutes before the scheduled time.”

Fortnite insiders like Shiina Also, they believe that Lightsabers are coming back along with Star Wars skins and something known as The Lightning Cup.
Shiina is also of the opinion that the update will include an “Omega Knight” outfit and it will also include the Anime Legends Bundle and the Blunder Bundle. There’s speculation that the Blunder Bundle could be a Fall Guys collaboration.

General fixes:
- Street Shine Pickaxe is Disabled
– Due to a problem with the visuals, we’ve deactivated this Street Shine pickaxe and may not be visible within your Locker. The item will appear once more and will be re-enabled with an upcoming update.
Battle Royale fixes:
- 7 Outposts Do Not Remain Open
– Vaults around Seven Outposts with a lock that requires several players to open it are locked, and cannot be activated. This issue will be fixed in an update to come in the near future.
- Anvil Rocket Launcher UI missing
It appears that the Anvil Rocket Launcher does not display that it is locking to vehicles, as is would be expected. It is still locked the moment it fires, but it does not show this.
Switch along with Mobile fix:
- Scoreboards could have double HUDs in certain Creative matches.
On mobile devices, certain Creative Islands will show two scoreboards, one in the middle as well as beneath the mini-map.
Innovative fixes:
* A few props included in the Agency Upper and Lower prefabs are displayed with blank tiles.
Creators may notice that certain props in the Agency Lower and Upper prefabs appear as blank tiles that have no images.

We’re aware of an issue that causes the skydive volume device not take flight off when the player changes teams.

We’re aware of an issue that’s causing tracks to vanish when players quit the game.

We’re aware that there is an issue that has caused the device that tracks teams to not be updated correctly for teams, even though multiple teams are able to utilize it.
